About the event

Kevin Rose

DC-based vocalist and voice teacher, Kevin Rose, has led a diverse and accomplished career with performances alongside legends like Patti LaBelle, Michelle Williams, and Dionne Warwick. Kevin has graced stages across the East Coast, including venues like The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center, and has toured over 20 countries with his headliner Feelin’ Good on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. He’s also performed as a soloist with the National Philharmonic Orchestra and appeared in PBS specials with The American Pops Orchestra. On June 28th, Kevin released his latest single, “How Many Times,” on streaming platforms everywhere. Within just three weeks of its release, Kevin’s latest single reached over 3,000 streams! No doubt propelled by his knack for writing honest, conversational, lyrics. “How Many Times” is direct and unfiltered. This single reflects the all too familiar frustration felt in conveying true feelings to a new love. These simple yet powerful lyrics, driven by raw emotional honesty, really capture the essence of Kevin’s lyrical voice.

Justina Beth-El

Justina Beth-El’s music journey began with raw, emotive lyrics and melodies from a young age. She launched her professional career in 2015 as the lead singer, songwriter, and arranger for the DC band L.A.T.O., achieving notable successes including performances at The Kennedy Center and winning the Mid-Atlantic Battle of the Bands. After relocating to Los Angeles, Justina transitioned to a solo career, performing at acclaimed venues like The Hotel Cafe, The Viper Room, and The Mint. She returned to DC to continue making waves in the local music scene. Her latest single, “Too Much Love,” released on May 31, 2024, is the first of many singles to come. This electrifying anthem challenges drama and self-absorption in the music scene, blending rock and pop to promote collaboration and positivity. Justina’s performances are known for their intimate, conversational style, making each show a unique and deeply engaging experience.
